No matter what the weather is doing outside, here are a couple activities that will help keep your child(ren) involved and have fun!
Ants on a Log
Make a yummy snack that looks like ants sitting on a log.
What you need:
• Celery Stick
• Peanut Butter
• Raisins
What you do:
A very simple snack idea! Fill the center of the celery stick with peanut butter. Place a few raisins on top to be your ants. If you do not like raisins, try tiny chocolate chips! Eat and enjoy!
Ice Cream In A Bag
Make your own ice cream!
What you need:
• 1 Tbsp Sugar
• 1/2 Cup Half-n-Half
• 1/4 tsp Vanilla
• 1/2 Cup Rock Salt
• Ice
• 1 Pint Size Ziploc Bag
• 1 Gallon Size Ziploc Bag
What you do:
Combine the sugar, half-n-half, and vanilla in the pint size ziploc bag and seal tightly. Combine the ice and rock salt in the large ziploc bag.
Place the small bag inside of the larger bag and seal. Shake the bag until the mixture turns into ice cream! This will take about 5 minutes. (You may want to wear gloves.) Add sprinkles, candy, nuts, or fruit and enjoy!
